About the Role

Velocity Classes ICL is looking for passionate and academically strong Home Tutors / Academic Mentors to provide personalized, one-on-one learning support to students at their homes.

The role goes beyond teaching the syllabus. Tutors are expected to understand each student's learning needs, build strong academic foundations, track progress, and create a structured and engaging learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one academic sessions at the student's residence.
• Teach assigned subjects according to the student's school curriculum and academic requirements.
• Prepare structured lessons based on the student's learning level and goals.
• Explain concepts clearly using practical examples and appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Regularly assess student performance and identify areas requiring improvement.
• Provide homework, practice exercises, revision, and exam-oriented preparation.
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, discipline, and a positive learning environment.
• Communicate relevant academic updates and observations to the assigned coordinator/parent.
• Adapt teaching strategies according to the student's pace, strengths, and challenges.
• Support students in developing better conceptual understanding, study habits, and academic confidence.

Candidate Profile

Eligibility

• Bachelor's / Master's degree or relevant academic qualification.
• Candidates pursuing higher education with strong subject knowledge may also be considered.
• Teaching experience will be an advantage.

This is a student-home teaching position. Selected tutors are required to travel to the student's residence and conduct classes in person.
