Technology->Infrastructure- Batch Scheduler->CA Workload Automation • Administer and support CA ESP Workload Automation Scheduler in Mainframe environments. • Monitor, schedule, and manage batch job processing to ensure timely execution of business-critical workloads. • Create, modify, and maintain ESP job definitions, calendars, dependencies, and workflows. • Troubleshoot and resolve job failures, scheduling conflicts, and production issues. • Coordinate with application and operations teams for batch scheduling requirements and production deployments. • Monitor daily batch processing and ensure SLA compliance. • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for scheduling and batch processing incidents. • Implement and maintain job automation, workload balancing, and process optimization. • Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning for scheduler environments. • Manage scheduler upgrades, patches, and configuration changes. • Develop and maintain operational documentation, job schedules, and runbooks. • Ensure compliance with change management, audit, and security standards. • Participate in on-call support and provide production support for critical batch cycles.
