Manager - Oracle Fin

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Professional with 8–13 years of ERP consulting experience and strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud. The ideal candidate should possess deep functional and accounting knowledge, led large-scale transformation programs, drive solution design discussions, and manage stakeholder relationships across business and IT teams.

The candidate should have proven experience in leading end-to-end implementations, solutioning complex business requirements, and guiding teams through implementation and support engagements.

Key Responsibilities Functional Leadership

• Lead solution design and implementation for Oracle Fusion Financials modules:

  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Cash Management (CM)
  • Fusion Tax

• Preferred expertise in:

  • Intercompany Accounting
  • Fusion Expenses
  • Financial Reporting Center (FRC)
  • Accounting Hub (desirable)

• Act as a subject matter expert for finance transformation initiatives.

• Drive requirement gathering workshops and translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.

• Review and validate solution designs, configurations, and business process flows.

• Recommend industry best practices and Oracle standard functionalities.

Implementation & Delivery

• Lead multiple end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials implementations and support engagements.

• Own the complete project lifecycle:

  • Requirement Discovery
  • Solution Design
  • Configuration
  • Testing
  • Deployment
  • Hypercare & Support

• Conduct client workshops, CRPs, fit-gap analysis, and solution demonstrations.

• Review Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and test scenarios.

• Manage UAT activities and support production rollouts.

• Identify project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.

Solution Architecture & Integration

• Collaborate with technical and integration teams to design interfaces and extensions.

• Provide guidance on:

  • FBDI
  • ADFDI
  • REST/SOAP integrations
  • Reporting solutions

• Oversee data migration strategy and reconciliation activities.

• Ensure successful integration between Finance and cross-functional modules such as Procurement, Projects, SCM, and HCM.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Act as the primary functional point of contact for client leadership and business stakeholders.
• Drive decision-making discussions and solution governance.
• Manage onsite/offshore coordination across project teams.
• Mentor junior consultants and review team deliverables.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and user enablement sessions.

Reporting, Compliance & Controls

• Advise clients on:

  • Period Close Process
  • Financial Reconciliation
  • Accounting Controls
  • Audit and Compliance Requirements

• Lead reporting and analytics initiatives using:

  • OTBI
  • BI Publisher
  • Financial Reporting Center (FRC)

• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate reporting requirements.

Required Experience

• 8–13 years of ERP consulting experience with significant exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Minimum 4+ Oracle Fusion Financials full-cycle implementations.
• Experience leading solution design workshops and client-facing discussions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance business processes.
• Experience in global implementation programs and multi-country rollouts.
• Exposure to support, enhancements, and transformation engagements.
