Job Description: North Indian ChefPosition SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and skilled North Indian Chef (Chef de Partie / Senior Cook) to lead our North Indian kitchen section. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in preparing authentic North Indian gravies, curries, tandoori items, and Mughlai dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, speed, and hygiene.

• Work Location: On-site (Restaurant / Hotel / Cloud Kitchen)
• Key ResponsibilitiesAuthentic Cooking: Prepare traditional North Indian dishes including base gravies (Makhani, Kadhai, White, Yellow, Tomato-Onion), Paneer specialties, Dal Makhani, Biryanis, and Mughlai curries.
• Tandoor Expertise: Handle tandoori preparations, marinations, kebabs, and various Indian breads (Naan, Roti, Paratha, Kulcha).
• Daily Prep (Mise en Place): Organize raw ingredients, cut vegetables, marinate meats, and keep base gravies ready prior to service hours.
• Quality & Portion Control: Ensure consistent taste, correct portion sizes, and attractive presentation for every order.
• Inventory & Wastage Control: Keep track of daily raw material usage, minimize food wastage, and list required ingredients for purchasing.
• Hygiene & Food Safety: Maintain strict cleanliness standards in the kitchen area, ensure proper food storage, and practice FIFO (First-In, First-Out).
• Team Guidance: Direct assistant cooks (Commis) and kitchen helpers during peak operational hours.
