Job Summary:

The Education Counselor is responsible for guiding students who wish to study abroad, helping them choose suitable universities, courses, and countries based on their academic background, financial situation, and career aspirations. The role also involves assisting with applications, visa processing, and post-admission support.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Student Counseling & Guidance:

Assist students in selecting suitable study destinations, universities, and courses.

Provide detailed information on admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and career prospects.

Evaluate student profiles and suggest appropriate study options.

🔹 Application & Documentation Support:

Guide students through the application process, ensuring timely submission of documents.

Assist in preparing Statements of Purpose (SOPs), resumes, and recommendation letters.

Verify and review application documents before submission.

🔹 Visa Assistance & Compliance:

Explain visa requirements and help students compile necessary documents.

Guide students on Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) criteria, Statement of Purpose (SOP), and financial documents.

Keep updated with visa regulations of different countries.

🔹 Coordination & Relationship Management:

Maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions.

Work closely with admission teams for smooth processing of student applications.

Communicate with parents and students to address concerns and queries.

🔹 Marketing & Outreach:

Participate in educational fairs, seminars, and webinars to promote study abroad programs.

Support digital marketing efforts by providing insights on student interests.

Develop partnerships with schools, colleges, and other institutions for student recruitment.

🔹 Post-Admission Support:

Assist students with accommodation, travel, and pre-departure briefings.

Stay in touch with students after enrollment for feedback and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔️ Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Counseling, or a related field is a plus).

✔️ 1-3 years of experience in student counseling or education consulting.

✔️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

✔️ Ability to handle multiple student profiles and provide tailored advice.

✔️ Knowledge of study destinations, universities, and visa processes.

✔️ Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

✔️ A proactive and goal-oriented approach.
