Senior Production Engineer

Production Engineer / Assembler — Water Robotics (Hyderabad)

We're a Hyderabad-based consumer robotics startup building next-generation adaptive furniture. We're looking for a hands-on Production Engineer/Assembler to join our hardware team and play a key role in bringing our products to life on the shop floor.

What you'll do:

• Assemble electro-mechanical products — integrating motors, PCBs, actuators, wiring harnesses, and structural components as per engineering drawings and standard operating procedures
• Test and troubleshoot assembled units, diagnose faults, and flag defects or quality issues for corrective action
• Work closely with the design and engineering team to refine assembly processes, improve build quality, and reduce cycle time
• Support the setup and calibration of jigs, fixtures, and assembly stations
• Maintain tools, keep the workstation organized, and update production and inventory records accurately

What we're looking for:

• ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronics
• Prior hands-on experience in electro-mechanical or product assembly
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and confident using hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of electronics, wiring, and testing equipment is a strong plus
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and a proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of their work
