Senior Specialist - Software Engineering
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled OpenShift and Kubernetes DevSecOps Engineer responsible for managing supporting automating and optimizing containerized application platforms The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in OpenShift administration Kubernetes cluster management GitOps deployment methodologies CICD automation monitoring and infrastructure troubleshooting
The candidate will work closely with application infrastructure security and DevOps teams to ensure platform stability scalability security and operational excellence
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration
Administer and support Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
Manage Kubernetes clusters including upgrades patching scaling and capacity planning
Troubleshoot platform networking storage and application deployment issues
Ensure high availability reliability and security of container platforms
GitOps Deployment Automation
Implement and manage GitOps deployment models using Argo CD
Automate application deployments across multiple environments
Manage configuration and release lifecycle through sourcecontrolled repositories
Support rollback and disaster recovery mechanisms
CICD Engineering
Design implement and maintain robust CICD pipelines
Automate build deployment validation and release processes
Improve deployment frequency reliability and quality through automation
Monitoring Observability
Configure and manage monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana
Create dashboards s and proactive monitoring mechanisms
Analyze platform and application performance metrics
Support production issue identification and resolution
DevSecOps
Integrate security controls within CICD pipelines
Support vulnerability scanning compliance checks and policy enforcement
Promote secure coding and deployment practices
Automate security validation throughout the software delivery lifecycle
Automation Scripting
Develop Bash and Python scripts for platform automation
Automate routine operational activities and troubleshooting tasks
Build reusable automation utilities for infrastructure management
