What this job involves

This role shall lead the Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) function for a client account in India to support and execute strategic outsourcing, cost savings and vendor management programs to support JLL’s S&P commitments in West Asia.

 

This role reports directly to the Regional Director of Sourcing & Procurement and requires a multi-disciplined subject matter expert in Integrated Facility Management (IFM), to manage complex initiatives and integrated outsourcing programs.

 

Responsibility also extends to procurement governance, vendor management and deliver contract / procurement strategies to achieve long term client benefits.

This role requires experience in sourcing & procurement and or Facility Management to support the portfolio of facilities in West Asia. As the functional lead you will need to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver optimal value to client and ensure that your team provides a high level of serviceability for all matters related to S&P..

 

The account requires high levels of activity in the vendor management space, including regular RFx execution management. Successful candidate will also need to exercise required oversight and timely management of these multiple initiatives so deliverables are met.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

Business partner to Senior leaders

• Provide strategic S&P direction across functional areas and programs that involve strategic outsourcing and vendor management across multiple IFM disciplines.
• Active vendor management in the form of quarterly business reviews.
• Lead process of developing vendor management strategy, identifying, sourcing, and securing resources based on business requirements/results

 

Functional Leadership

• Manage the RFP, pricing and negotiation process for the client on behalf of JLL,
• Provide account support in managing the Jones Lang LaSalle ERP Procurement Module. This includes system training, vendor performance management, and providing regular reporting to client account teams.
• Assist in developing and communicating the IFM and S&P vision to the client, JLL, vendors and Strategic Alliance Partners.
• Supports the strategies for negotiation of major programs, projects and/or vendor activities.

 

Operational Leadership

• Implement, and operate integrated outsourcing strategies, standards and guidelines, training, costing parameters and tools/templates.
• Set savings targets and goals for IFM, S&P programs, and developing metrics for tracking performance.
• Implementing and maintaining procurement rules and standards set by JLL and client.
• Lead the team to work in partnership with Ops and FIN in periodic budget forecasting and reconciliation of vendor expenditures and PO management.

 

Ideal Experience

• Business / Commerce Degree with at least 8 years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and negotiation.
• Relevant work experience in IFM with knowledge of procurement for services related to facility management will be highly regarded.
• Management experience in integrated outsourcing and supply chain management and procurement.
• Practical knowledge of facilities management, maintenance operations and engineering and risk management and capable of changing them to meet new and evolving needs will be highly regarded.
• Management of outsourcing relationships and the ability to accomplish results through vendor management.
• Execution of vendor contracts between the company and the vendor, drawing upon good contract management skills, negotiation and problem solving.

• Ability to analyse complex problems and generate solutions.

• Exhibit exceptional relationship management and conflict management capabilities in order to guide the company-vendor relationship.
• Proven ability to lead by example, with strong influencing skills.

 

Team Leadership Skills etc

• Experience managing multi country procurement teams.

 

Other Personal Characteristics

• Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
• Capable of managing projects in an atmosphere of uncertainty and change.
