About Exciting TalesExciting Tales is a travel company specialising in curated holidays, customised travel experiences, group tours, corporate travel management, MICE travel, and visa services. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Ticketing Executive to join our team and manage domestic and international flight bookings, ticket issuance, amendments, cancellations, and related airline reservations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesHandle domestic and international flight reservations, fare searches, and ticket issuance.
• Work on GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
• Check flight availability, compare fares, and identify the most suitable routing and fare options for clients.
• Process ticket reissuance, cancellations, refunds, date changes, and name corrections as per airline policies.
• Handle PNR creation, queue management, fare rules, baggage allowance, and other ticketing-related requirements.
• Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and suppliers for reservations, schedule changes, refunds, and ticketing queries.
• Ensure accuracy of passenger details, travel dates, fare calculations, taxes, and ticketing deadlines.
• Provide timely support for urgent bookings, flight disruptions, schedule changes, and other travel-related requirements.
• Maintain proper records of bookings, ticket invoices, refunds, and pending cases.
• Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
• Stay updated on airline policies, fare conditions, baggage rules, and industry developments.
• Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in flight ticketing and reservations.
• Practical working knowledge of at least one major GDS platform: Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
• Good understanding of domestic and international airfares, fare rules, ticketing procedures, and airline policies.
• Experience in handling cancellations, reissuances, refunds, and itinerary changes.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings within tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office, email, and basic computer applications.
• Preferred Candidate ProfileExperience in a travel agency, TMC, or travel management company.
• Exposure to both corporate and leisure travel bookings.
• Familiarity with low-cost carriers, full-service airlines, and international itineraries.
