Field Sales Executive

Pia is pharmacy software for Android and iOS phones, in Hinglish or English. It handles billing, stock and expiry, purchases, reorders and daily accounts. The shop owner approves what Pia prepares. Pia is made in Jabalpur by Pia Prescience Private Limited.

HOW THE TEAM WORKS

Our telecaller books visits with pharmacy owners. The field sales representative visits and gives a demo. If the owner is interested, the field sales representative returns with the forward deployed engineer to sign the shop up. The forward deployed engineer then sets the shop up, trains the staff and supports the shop after it goes live.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Visit the pharmacies our telecaller books, and walk in to other shops in your area.

- Give owners a hands-on demo on a phone and thermal printer: billing and printing, stock with batches and expiry, reorders, a supplier bill entered from a photo, owner approvals, and locking a staff member out of the app.

- Choose what to show based on the shop's size, staff and current software.

- Set up the demo phones and printer yourself, and fix common problems like printer pairing and app permissions.

- Answer owners' questions truthfully: where their data is kept, what staff can see, and what Pia does and does not do. Do not promise features Pia does not have.

- Return to interested shops with the forward deployed engineer, close the sale and fix a go-live date.

- Before go-live, collect GST details, the staff list and phones, printer details, and one bill from each supplier.

- Stay the owner's contact for the first month, with check-ins after the first week and the first month.

- Record every visit and its result, including why a shop said no.

- Tell the team each week what shops are asking, what they object to, and why sales were lost.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Fluent Hindi. English good enough to write a short report.

- A record of selling to small business owners in the field.

- Good with phones, apps and Bluetooth devices, and able to learn Pia well enough to demo it without help.

- Organised: plans the day and keeps notes.

- Truthful with customers about what the product can and cannot do.

- Own two-wheeler and a valid driving licence.

- Trustworthy with confidential business data.

GOOD TO HAVE

- Field sales experience in pharmaceutical distribution.

- Experience selling or demonstrating billing, POS or accounting software.

- Knowing the pharmacies, hospitals and distributors in Jabalpur.

A technical degree is not required.
