Job Description

Bookkeeping and reporting

  • Record all sales, purchase, expense, bank and journal entries in Tally Prime
  • Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet and job-wise profitability reports
  • Reconcile bank, cash, vendor and customer accounts every month

Freight billing and receivables

  • Raise customer invoices for freight, CHA, transport and handling charges, job by job
  • Track outstanding receivables, send reminders and follow up on overdue payments
  • Book foreign-currency invoices at the correct exchange rate and account for forex gains or losses

Payables

  • Verify and book invoices from shipping lines, carriers, CFS, transporters and other vendors
  • Match vendor bills against job sheets before payment
  • Schedule and process vendor payments on time
