About the Role
Force Lifts Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Operations Head to lead and manage the company's day-to-day elevator operations.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing elevator installation, maintenance, servicing, breakdown resolution, site operations, technicians, customer coordination, and overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate must have strong practical knowledge of the elevator industry and the ability to manage multiple sites and teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all day-to-day elevator installation, maintenance, servicing and breakdown operations.
Plan and allocate technicians and installation teams according to site requirements and priorities.
Monitor ongoing installation and service sites to ensure work is completed within the committed timelines.
Coordinate with customers, site engineers, builders, contractors and internal departments regarding operational requirements.
Handle and monitor breakdown complaints and repeat complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
Review the performance and productivity of technicians, supervisors and installation teams.
Ensure proper manpower planning and optimum utilization of technical staff.
Conduct regular follow-ups with site teams regarding work progress, pending activities and material requirements.
Ensure that all elevator work is carried out according to company standards, safety procedures and applicable technical requirements.
Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing of installed elevators.
Identify recurring technical issues and coordinate with the technical team for permanent solutions.
Coordinate with the Stores/Purchase team for timely availability of required elevator parts and materials.
Monitor material usage at sites and minimize unnecessary wastage and delays.
Maintain proper operational records, site reports, complaint reports and technician performance reports.
Prepare and submit regular operations and performance reports to the management.
Track pending installations, pending breakdowns, AMC/service requirements and other operational activities.
Ensure timely closure of customer complaints and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular site visits when required to inspect work quality and resolve operational issues.
Take corrective action in case of delays, poor workmanship, repeated complaints or operational inefficiencies.
Train, guide and motivate the operations team to improve productivity and service quality.
Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Purchase, Stores and Management for smooth execution of projects.
Ensure proper handover of completed installation projects to the service/maintenance team.
Maintain discipline, attendance, punctuality and accountability within the operations team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Elevator / Lift Industry is mandatory.
Strong practical knowledge of elevator installation, maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting.
Experience in handling technicians, supervisors and multiple elevator sites.
Good knowledge of elevator components, electrical and mechanical systems.
Strong manpower planning and team-management skills.
Good customer-handling and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple sites and operational priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Good knowledge of reporting, Excel/Google Sheets and basic computer applications.
Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
Strong sense of responsibility, ownership and discipline.
Willingness to travel to elevator sites within Jaipur and nearby areas as required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be:
From the elevator/lift industry with hands-on operational experience.
Capable of independently managing a technical operations team.
Experienced in handling installation and service operations.
Strong in customer coordination and complaint management.
Result-oriented and capable of taking ownership of operational targets.
Able to identify problems quickly and ensure timely resolution.
Professional, disciplined and effective in team management.
