Job Summary

We are looking for an organized and responsible Operations Executive to manage day-to-day hub operations. The role involves receiving, scanning, sorting, and dispatching parcels while coordinating with delivery executives, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Receive incoming parcels at the hub and verify shipments against system records.

Scan and sort parcels according to delivery routes, locations, and shipment status.

Ensure parcels are properly organized and handed over to delivery executives.

Coordinate with delivery staff regarding parcel allocation, delivery status, and operational issues.

Communicate with customers when required to resolve delivery-related queries or issues.

Identify and handle missing, damaged, delayed, or misrouted parcels and coordinate with the relevant teams for resolution.

Update daily operational data, shipment details, and status reports in Excel or internal systems.

Maintain accurate records of received, dispatched, pending, returned, and exception shipments.

Monitor parcel movement and ensure shipments are processed within the required timelines.

Coordinate with supervisors, delivery executives, and other hub teams to resolve operational issues.

Follow company SOPs and safety procedures while handling shipments.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper parcel placement within the hub.

Support overall hub operations and achieve daily productivity and service-level targets.

Required Skills

Good communication and coordination skills.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and data entry.

Ability to use computers and scanning devices/systems.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to identify and resolve operational issues.

Ability to work under pressure and meet daily targets.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Ability to coordinate effectively with delivery executives and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

12th pass / Graduate in any discipline.

Previous experience in logistics, e-commerce, warehouse, courier, or hub operations will be an advantage.

Freshers with good communication and basic computer skills may also be considered.

Timely parcel dispatch and handover.

Reduction of missing/damaged shipments.

Timely resolution of shipment exceptions.

Accurate data and sheet updating.

Delivery staff coordination and productivity.
