Job Description
A retail pharmacist dispenses prescription medicines, advises customers on safe drug use, and manages daily community pharmacy operations. [1, 2]
Core Responsibilities
- Dispensing Medications: Review, check, and fill prescriptions to verify correct dosages, patient history, and safe drug interactions.
- Patient Counseling: Explain how to take medications, outline potential side effects, and offer advice on over-the-counter treatments and general health issues.
- Clinical Services: Administer vaccinations and conduct basic health screenings where certified.
- Inventory Management: Order and stock pharmaceutical supplies, secure controlled substances, and manage expired products.

Key Skills and Qualifications
