ROLE OVERVIEW

The Junior Store & Dispatch Executive will support day-to-day finished-goods store, inventory and dispatch operations at the manufacturing facility.

The role involves stock checking, dispatch preparation, documentation, ERP entries, transporter coordination and maintaining accurate records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Dispatch Operations

a. Assist in planning and executing daily dispatches as per approved orders and delivery schedules.

b. Coordinate with the store/warehouse team for dispatch readiness.

c. Ensure products are available and ready for loading as per dispatch requirements.

d. Assist in vehicle placement and loading coordination.

2. Finished-Goods Verification

a. Check product name, quantity, batch/lot number, packaging and labels before dispatch.

b. Ensure physical quantities match dispatch documents.

c. Report shortages, damages or discrepancies to the senior/store in-charge.

3. Transporter Coordination

a. Coordinate with drivers and transporters for vehicle placement and loading.

b. Share basic dispatch and destination details with drivers.

c. Follow up on vehicle movement and delivery status.

d. Escalate delays or delivery issues.

4. Dispatch Documentation

a. Assist in preparing and checking invoices, challans, LR/GR and other dispatch documents. b. Ensure basic details such as product, quantity, vehicle and destination are correct.

c. Maintain dispatch-related records and files.

5. Inventory & Store Operations

a. Assist in maintaining accurate finished-goods stock records.

b. Record receipts, issues, transfers, returns and dispatches.

c. Support physical stock counting and reconciliation with ERP/system records.

d. Follow FIFO/FEFO and batch-wise stock control.

e. Ensure proper identification and location of finished goods.

6. Warehouse & Safety

a. Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the store and dispatch area.

b. Ensure approved, hold, rejected and returned materials are properly segregated.

c. Follow company requirements for hygiene, safety and product handling.

7. ERP & Record Keeping

a. Make accurate ERP/system entries for stock movements and dispatches.

b. Maintain dispatch registers, transporter details and supporting documents.

c. Ensure records are updated on time.

8. Coordination & Issue Reporting

a. Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Sales, Accounts and Stores as required.

b. Immediately report shortages, damages, documentation errors and other discrepancies.

c. Support seniors in resolving day-to-day dispatch and store-related issues.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Graduate/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, Operations or a related field.

2. 1–3 years of experience in Manufacturing will be preferred.

3. Basic working knowledge of ERP/inventory software preferred.
