German Trainer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated German Language Trainer to provide German language training to students preparing for Ausbildung (vocational training) opportunities in Germany. The trainer will be responsible for developing students’ German language proficiency, communication skills, and overall readiness for their academic, professional, and daily life in Germany.

• Key ResponsibilitiesConduct German language classes from A1 to C1 level, with a strong focus on practical communication.
• Prepare students for German language examinations such as Goethe, telc, ÖSD, or equivalent examinations.
• Provide specialized training for students planning to pursue Ausbildung programs in Germany.
• Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Conduct regular assessments, mock tests, and progress evaluations.
• Provide guidance on German workplace communication, professional etiquette, and basic cultural understanding.
• Prepare students for Ausbildung interviews and employer interactions.
• Create engaging lesson plans, study materials, activities, and practice exercises.
• Monitor individual student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate with the academic and placement teams regarding student progress and readiness.
• Required QualificationsCompleted German language proficiency at C1 level or above.
• Relevant certification from Goethe, telc, ÖSD, TestDaF, or an equivalent recognized institution is preferred.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong command of German and English.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience Required2+ years of experience in German language training preferred.
• Proven experience in training students specifically for Ausbildung programs in Germany.
• Experience preparing students for German language certification examinations.
• Experience conducting mock interviews and professional communication training for Germany-bound students.
• Prior experience with nursing, healthcare, technical, or other Ausbildung candidates will be an added advantage.
• Preferred SkillsStrong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor students.
• Practical knowledge of the Ausbildung pathway and requirements.
• Good understanding of German workplace culture and professional communication.
• Ability to work with students from different academic backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
