Role Overview : As a Listener at TalkToo, you'll provide empathetic, non-clinical emotional support to users seeking someone to talk to. This is not a therapy or clinical counseling role — it's about active listening, presence, and creating a safe space for people to express themselves.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one listening sessions with users via call/chat, offering empathetic, non-judgmental support
• Apply active listening techniques learned during training to help users feel heard and understood
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional boundaries in every interaction
• Meet performance KPIs related to session quality, user satisfaction, and consistency
• Participate in regular performance review meetings and act on feedback
• Escalate any concerning conversations (e.g., signs of crisis) per TalkToo's escalation protocol
• Complete mandatory first-level training in empathetic listening (SOP-based) before going live
• Maintain accurate session logs/records as required

Requirements

• Strong active listening and communication skills
• High emotional intelligence and empathy
• Patience and the ability to stay calm and non-reactive during difficult conversations
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with a KPI-driven, review-based work structure
• Prior experience in counseling, psychology, HR, customer support, or related fields is a plus (not mandatory)
• Comfortable with remote/digital tools for scheduling and reporting
