About the Role

Saha Alankar, a growing artificial jewellery retail business with multiple showrooms in Behala, is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to manage product entry, inventory maintenance in Zoho, and day-to-day accounting-related work.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with computers, handling inventory data accurately, and maintaining proper records.

Key Responsibilities

1. Zoho Inventory Management

- Enter jewellery products into Zoho Inventory with accurate item names, design numbers, barcodes, MRP, purchase prices, and other relevant details.

- Maintain and update stock records across showrooms.

- Record stock transfers, purchases, sales-related inventory movements, and stock adjustments.

- Verify physical stock against Zoho inventory records and identify discrepancies.

- Coordinate with showroom staff for stock updates, product tagging, and inventory accuracy.

- Maintain proper product categorisation and ensure all items are correctly entered into the system.

2. Accounts & Documentation

- Assist with daily accounting entries and bookkeeping.

- Maintain purchase bills, sales records, expense vouchers, and payment records.

- Assist with vendor bills, purchase invoices, and outstanding payment tracking.

- Support bank reconciliation and cash/expense reporting.

- Coordinate with the accountant or CA for GST-related documentation and other accounting requirements.

3. Reporting & Administration

- Prepare daily and periodic stock and accounting reports.

- Maintain organised digital and physical records.

- Identify data-entry errors, duplicate products, and stock mismatches.

- Support management with inventory reports and other assigned accounts-related work.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.Com graduate preferred.

- Previous experience in accounts, inventory management, or retail operations preferred.

- Working knowledge of Zoho Inventory and/or Zoho Books will be an advantage.

- Knowledge of Tally, Excel, and basic accounting principles is desirable.

- Good typing speed and accuracy in data entry.

- Strong attention to detail, honesty, and willingness to take responsibility.

- Ability to maintain confidential business and financial information.

Freshers with good computer skills and a willingness to learn Zoho may also apply.

- Candidates residing in Behala or nearby areas will be preferred.
