Job Description
A housekeeper maintains cleanliness and sanitation in residential or commercial settings (hotels, hospitals, homes) by performing duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing restrooms, and changing linens.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Cleaning & Sanitation: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors; cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas; dusting furniture and cleaning mirrors/windows.
- Linen & Room Management: Changing bed linens, washing/drying laundry, and making beds.
- Restocking Supplies: Replenishing toiletries, towels, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies in guest rooms or restrooms.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identifying and reporting repairs needed (leaky faucets, broken fixtures) to management.
- Safety Compliance: Handling cleaning chemicals, following sanitation protocols, and using equipment safely.
