About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly responsible Senior Project Finance & Accounts Manager to manage the complete financial and accounting operations of our real estate and construction business.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in project-wise accounting, construction costing, cash-flow management, MIS reporting, investor accounting, bank finance, budgeting and profitability analysis.

This is a key management position. The candidate will be responsible not only for maintaining accounts but also for providing clear and accurate financial information to the management for every project/site.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain complete and accurate project-wise/site-wise accounts.

- Track all expenses related to land, construction, labour, contractors, materials, approvals, registry, marketing and other project costs.

- Prepare project-wise Profit & Loss statements and calculate actual profitability.

- Maintain detailed records of company income, expenses, assets and liabilities.

- Track bank loans, principal, interest, repayments and outstanding balances.

- Maintain complete accounting of funds received from investors/financiers.

- Calculate investor profit/returns and prepare investor settlement statements.

- Calculate the company's actual profit after considering investor returns, finance costs and project expenses.

- Maintain separate records for office expenses, staff expenses, site expenses and other overheads.

- Monitor project budgets against actual expenditure and identify cost overruns.

- Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS reports for management.

- Prepare cash-flow statements and forecast upcoming fund requirements.

- Monitor receivables, payables and pending payments.

- Reconcile all bank accounts and cash transactions regularly.

- Ensure proper documentation of bills, vouchers, purchase invoices and payment records.

- Coordinate with the company's CA/auditor for GST, TDS, income tax, audit and statutory compliance.

- Establish proper financial controls and approval systems for site and office expenses.

- Identify unusual, excessive or unauthorized expenses and immediately report them to management.

- Maintain complete confidentiality of company, investor and financial information.

Required Experience & Qualification

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.

- Preferably 2–3+ years of experience specifically in Real Estate / Construction / Infrastructure.

- Candidates with 6–8 years of relevant experience will be preferred.

- Graduate in Commerce / Finance; B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA or equivalent qualification preferred.

- Strong practical knowledge of Excel and accounting software is mandatory.

Important

This position is not limited to routine accounting or Tally entries.

The candidate should be capable of understanding the complete financial picture of the business — where money comes from, where it is spent, project-wise cost, project-wise revenue, loans, investor funds, finance costs and the actual profit generated for the company and management.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a practical Excel/Project Finance test covering:

- Project-wise P&L

- Construction costing

- Investor settlement

- Loan/interest calculation

- Cash-flow statement

- Budget vs actual expenditure

- Management MIS

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Salary will be decided based on relevant experience, technical capability and performance in the selection process.
