Service Staff - Corporate Mess

Job Description:

Serve meals to employees in a high-volume corporate mess/cafeteria.

Ensure timely and orderly meal service during breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining and service areas.

Set up serving counters, tables, crockery and cutlery before meals.

Refill food items, water and other service items as required.

Maintain proper portioning and presentation as instructed.

Clear used plates, glasses and cutlery and keep the dining area clean.

Assist in maintaining smooth movement of employees during peak meal times.

Coordinate with kitchen and mess supervisors regarding food replenishment and shortages.

Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming and workplace safety standards.

Assist with opening, closing and cleaning duties.

Preferred experience:

Experience in a corporate mess, industrial canteen, institutional catering, hostel/mess, hospital, hotel or large-volume food service operation preferred.
