Job Description
- 1. Cleaning & Hygiene MaintenanceEnsure all rooms, common areas, and assigned spaces are cleaned and maintained as per standards.
- Regular dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitization.
- Maintain washroom cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
- 2. Room Readiness & PresentationPrepare rooms for guest arrival as per checklist.
- Ensure beds, linens, and amenities are properly arranged.
- Maintain overall neatness and aesthetic appearance of rooms.
- 3. Inventory ManagementMonitor housekeeping supplies (cleaning materials, toiletries, linens).
- Report shortages and damages timely.
- Ensure proper usage to avoid wastage.
- 4. Guest Service SupportRespond promptly to guest requests (extra linen, cleaning, etc.).
- Maintain polite and professional behavior with guests.
- Coordinate with front office for guest requirements.
- 5. Waste ManagementProper disposal of waste as per guidelines.
- Segregation of dry and wet waste.
- Maintain cleanliness in garbage disposal areas.
- 6. Maintenance ReportingIdentify and report any maintenance issues (leakage, electrical faults, damages).
- Coordinate with maintenance team for quick resolution.
- 7. Safety & ComplianceFollow safety and hygiene protocols.
- Proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- 8. Time Management & ProductivityComplete assigned tasks within given timelines.
- Maintain daily cleaning schedules and checklists.
- 9. Inspection & Quality ControlEnsure quality standards are maintained consistently.
- Be ready for supervisor inspections and audits.
