Pressman / Laundry Ironing Executive
Company: Washing Bells – Premium Laundry & Dry-Cleaning Studio
Location: Zirakpur, Punjab
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Pressman / Laundry Ironing Executive to handle the professional ironing and finishing of garments. The ideal candidate should have experience in pressing different types of clothes and be able to maintain high-quality finishing while handling garments with care.
Key Responsibilities
* Professionally press and iron clothes using steam irons, vacuum tables and other pressing equipment.
* Handle different types of garments including shirts, trousers, sarees, suits, dresses, uniforms and delicate fabrics.
* Ensure clothes are properly pressed, wrinkle-free and ready for delivery.
* Follow appropriate temperature and pressing techniques for different fabrics.
* Inspect garments before and after pressing for stains, damage, buttons, zippers or other issues.
* Handle garments carefully to prevent burns, fabric damage, shine marks or creases.
* Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the pressing area.
* Follow Washing Bells’ quality and garment-handling standards.
* Coordinate with the laundry and dry-cleaning team to ensure orders are completed on time.
* Properly fold, hang and prepare pressed garments for packaging and delivery.
* Report any garment damage, defects or special-care requirements to the supervisor.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Pressman / Ironing Man / Laundry Pressman is preferred.
* Knowledge of different fabrics and appropriate ironing techniques.
* Ability to operate steam iron and professional pressing equipment.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
* Responsible and punctual.
* Experience in a laundry or dry-cleaning business will be an added advantage.
