We’re looking for a passionate PHP Laravel Developer who enjoys solving problems, writing clean code, and turning ideas into reliable applications.

At Informatia AI, we build technology for product and client requirements across digital engagement, healthcare, and business operations. You’ll work on Informatia Cloud, our backend platform, and develop the APIs and backend portals that power our applications.

Your Role

Take ownership of backend features—from understanding requirements and designing database structures to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.

What You’ll Work On

• Manage, maintain, and enhance the Informatia Cloud backend application.
• Develop secure, well-documented REST APIs for web applications and external integrations.
• Build admin panels, dashboards, and backend portals using Laravel and Filament.
• Translate product and client requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Design and optimise databases, queries, and application performance.
• Implement authentication, role-based access, validation, queues, scheduled jobs, and notifications.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Monitor application health, investigate errors, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project teams to deliver complete features.
• Write maintainable code, test critical workflows, and keep technical documentation updated.

You’ll work with modern development tools and have opportunities to explore better ways to build, deploy, and maintain applications.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong fundamentals in PHP, object-oriented programming, and Laravel.
• Practical experience with REST APIs, Eloquent ORM, relational databases, and SQL.
• Understanding of authentication, authorisation, API security, and error handling.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to debug issues, identify root causes, and improve existing code.
• Attention to performance, security, and code quality.
• Clear communication, ownership of assigned work, and a willingness to learn.

Good to Have

• Experience with Filament, Livewire, Laravel Cloud, or Laravel Nightwatch.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare, caching, queues, webhooks, and cloud deployments.
• Experience writing automated tests with Pest or PHPUnit.
• Exposure to SaaS platforms, multi-tenant applications, or systems with multiple user roles.

You don’t need to have used every tool in our stack. Strong Laravel fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to learn matter to us.
