Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Jewellery Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, jewellery stock records, sales and purchase accounting, and financial documentation. The candidate should have prior experience in the jewellery industry and a strong understanding of jewellery-related transactions.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain day-to-day accounts and financial records of the jewellery business.
• Handle sales, purchase, cash, bank, and journal entries accurately.
• Maintain detailed jewellery stock and inventory records, including gold, diamond, silver, and other precious items.
• Record and reconcile jewellery sales, purchases, returns, exchanges, and repair transactions.
• Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Maintain records of gold weight, purity, wastage, making charges, discounts, and stone values.
• Reconcile physical jewellery stock with accounting and system records.
• Manage customer and supplier ledgers and ensure timely reconciliation.
• Handle daily cash and bank reconciliation.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and maintain relevant records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accounting reports.
• Coordinate with showroom, sales, purchase, inventory, and management teams.
• Monitor outstanding payments and receivables/payables.
• Identify discrepancies in accounts or stock and report them to management.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all financial and jewellery-relate
