1. What you’ll do
2. Call inbound leads only. We don’t do cold calling. The people you speak to have already shown interest in publishing, partnerships or marketing with us.
3. Negotiate and close deals.
4. Understand what each client wants to achieve.
5. Whether that’s a corporate anthology, a leader’s book, or a brand campaign for our reader community, and win the deal.
6. Find new leads through LinkedIn and social media.
7. Use what you know about readers, authors and literary trends to start useful conversations.
8. Meet senior executives and CXOs
9. At their offices and show them what reaching millions of readers can do for their brand.
10. Write proposals and make presentations
11. That read well, because our clients are buying from a storytelling company.
12. Work closely with the marketing and operations teams
13. so every deal turns into a book or campaign we’re proud of.

• You’ll fit right in if you
• Read regularly and can talk about the last three books you read, and why they stayed with you
• Have [0–3] years of experience in B2B sales, business development, client servicing or partnerships. Publishing, media, edtech or advertising is a bonus.
• Write and speak fluent English. Hindi or another Indian language is a strong plus.
• Are comfortable meeting senior people and pitching to them
• Are good with LinkedIn, Google Docs and Slides, and PowerPoint
• Follow up on every lead and enjoy closing deals
• Bonus: you write, blog, review books, run a book club or follow #Bookstagram
