Job Description
We are looking for Commis Chefs to join our catering and food production kitchen in Mahim.
- Job ResponsibilitiesDaily food preparation and production
- Cutting, chopping, cooking and mise-en-place
- Follow standard recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain food quality and consistency
- Support catering and B2B bulk production
- Packing and preparation of event orders
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
- Follow food safety and kitchen SOPs
- Control wastage and properly store ingredients
- Assist CDP and Kitchen Manager in daily operations
- Support event preparation when required
- Candidate RequirementsPrevious kitchen experience preferred - Dim sum knowledge an advantage
- Hotel, restaurant, catering or central kitchen experience is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene
- Willing to learn and work as part of a team
- Disciplined, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable handling bulk food production
