COMMI 1 / 2 / 3 & KITCHEN HELPERRole Overview

Responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining the required quality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, mise en place, cooking, portioning, and plating as assigned.
• Follow recipes, preparation methods, portion sizes, and kitchen SOPs accurately.
• Maintain strict personal hygiene and food safety standards, including clean uniform, proper hand washing, gloves where required, and safe food handling.
• Ensure all ingredients are properly washed, stored, labelled, covered, and rotated using FIFO.
• Keep workstations, utensils, equipment, refrigerators, and storage areas clean and sanitised at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the shift and follow proper opening and closing cleaning procedures.
• Minimise food wastage and handle ingredients carefully.
• Support the senior kitchen team during busy service and ensure orders are prepared efficiently and consistently.
• Report any issues related to food quality, hygiene, equipment, or storage to the senior chef immediately.
• Follow kitchen discipline, safety procedures, and instructions from the Head Chef and senior team.
