Role OverviewWe are seeking experienced, patient, and subject-matter-expert educators to deliver high-impact one-to-one coaching for students enrolled in international curricula, specifically Cambridge IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate (IB MYP & IB DP).

The ideal educator must understand the distinct pedagogical approach of international boards—moving beyond rote learning to emphasize conceptual clarity, inquiry-based thinking, exam command terms, and criterion-referenced assessment rubrics.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPersonalized Curriculum Delivery: Design and execute customized study plans matched to the student's learning pace, school syllabus timeline, and diagnostic assessment.

• Mastery of Command Terms & Rubrics: Train students on board-specific command terms (Analyze, Evaluate, Discuss, Deduce, Explain) and Cambridge/IB grading bands.
• 
  
• Internal Assessment & Coursework Guidance: Guide students through the structuring, inquiry methodology, and academic integrity protocols of IB IAs and IGCSE Coursework (without writing for them).
• 
  
• Past Paper Rigor: Conduct timed past-paper drilling, detailed error analysis, and provide precise examiner-style mark scheme feedback.
• 
  
• Progress Tracking & Parent Communication: Maintain documented session logs, periodic progress reports, and deliver regular, professional updates to parents regarding the student’s academic trajectory.

• Punctuality & Reliability: Adhere strictly to the agreed session schedule, especially during school assessment cycles and board exam preparation seasons.

• Qualifications & ExperienceEducational Background: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area from a recognized university. B.Ed or formal international board certification is a plus.

• Direct Curriculum Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of proven track record teaching or tutoring IB DP / MYP or Cambridge IGCSE students.

• Familiarity with Mumbai International Schools: Familiarity with assessment calendars and expectations of key schools (e.g., DAIS, Oberoi International, ASB, Cathedral & John Connon, BD Somani, Ascend International).

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; professional, composed demeanor suitable for high-expectation student-parent environments.

• Pedagogical Understanding: Strong command over graphing calculators (TI-Nspire / Casio fx-CG50 for Math/Physics) and digital simulation tools where relevant.
