Interior Designer

INTERIOR DESIGNER – SITE & PROJECT COORDINATIONKey Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed site visits, measurements and site assessments.
• Prepare and review 2D drawings, layouts, working drawings and 3D designs.
• Prepare detailed BOQ, quantity calculations, material specifications and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients to understand requirements, design preferences, changes and approvals.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers for smooth project execution.
• Manage day-to-day site coordination and monitor progress as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure contractors execute work according to approved designs, drawings, BOQ and quality standards.
• Coordinate civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, flooring, painting, furniture and other interior works.
• Check site measurements and verify quantities executed by contractors.
• Prepare and communicate material requirements, work schedules and execution priorities.
• Coordinate with vendors for material selection, quotations, delivery and installation.
• Identify site issues, design discrepancies and execution problems and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Maintain regular communication between client, designer, contractor and internal team.
• Monitor quality, workmanship, timelines and material usage at site.
• Review contractor bills and measurements against the BOQ and actual site work.
• Prepare site reports, progress reports, measurement sheets and project updates.
• Coordinate design revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings are available at site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain proper documentation and project records.
• Assist in material selection, finishes, colour schemes, furniture, fixtures and accessories.
• Ensure projects are completed within the approved timeline, budget and quality standards.
• Coordinate snagging, rectification and final handover of completed projects.
