CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE EXPIERENCE IN PURCHASING RAW MATERIAL LIKE RODS , PIPE IN ANY MATEROLOGY.

CANDIDATE HAS TO BE TECHINALLY SOUND TO UNDERTSAND THE PURCHASE ROLE.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and evaluate suppliers of mechanical components, equipment, and services.

Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase terms and contracts.

Analyze technical specifications and ensure materials meet engineering requirements.

Maintain updated records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.

Coordinate with the engineering and production teams to align purchases with project timelines.

Monitor stock levels and initiate procurement actions to avoid shortages or delays.

Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up with vendors as required.

Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing, and alternatives.

Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Assist in cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

1 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Knowledge of mechanical components, machinery, and industrial equipment.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
