Restaurant Manager | Poetry by Love & Cheesecake
Location: [Outlet, Mumbai / Pune] | Type: Full-time | Experience: 8-10 years
About us
Poetry by Love & Cheesecake is an all-day café and restaurant from the Love & Cheesecake family, part of Brewworks, which runs 21+ outlets across Mumbai and Pune. We’re looking for a Restaurant Manager to own one of our outlets: the guest experience, the team and the numbers.
What you’ll do
- Own the outlet P&L: sales, food and beverage cost, labour and wastage
- Hold service, ambience and food standards on every shift, and be on the floor at peak times
- Lead, train and appraise the Assistant Manager, Captains and stewards, and build your own successors
- Work with the Head Chef and central kitchen on menu execution, ordering and stock
- Keep the outlet compliant and audit-ready (FSSAI, fire, licences, hygiene)
- Track guest feedback, Google reviews and aggregator ratings, and fix root causes
- Drive sales through reservations, events and local activations
What you bring
- 8-10 years in café or premium casual dining, with 3+ years as a Cafe or Outlet Manager
- Strong command of P&L, food cost, inventory and rostering
- Comfortable with POS systems (POSIST a plus), Excel and reporting
- Fluent in English
- A record of building teams and delivering consistent guest ratings
- Flexibility on shifts, weekends and holidays
