Site Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor holding an ENGINEERING DEGREE in Mechanical,Electrical or Civil field to oversee and coordinate day-to-day activities related to mechanical repairs, painting, overhauling, fabrication, and maintenance works carried out on railway coaches and wagons in railway workshops around but not limited to Mumbai.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of work, effective labour management, compliance with safety standards, and maintenance of site records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical, repair, overhauling, fabrication, and painting activities of railway coaches.
• Plan, monitor, and ensure timely completion of assigned work as per quality and safety requirements.
• Manage and supervise labour and subcontractors efficiently.
• Maintain daily work progress reports, attendance records, material consumption records, and other site documentation for billing
• Ensure availability of tools, equipment, materials, and PPE required for site operations.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and railway standards.
• Coordinate with workshop authorities, engineers, inspectors, and company management.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE by all workers.
• Assist during inspections, audits, and quality checks.
• Report site progress, issues, delays, and resource requirements to management.
