Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly experienced and responsible Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting.

The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts and working closely with our CA to ensure that all accounting, GST, TDS, ITR, and statutory filings are accurate and completed on time.

• Key ResponsibilitiesHandle complete day-to-day accounting operations.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Handle GST, TDS, ITR, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
• Prepare and verify data required for GST returns, TDS returns and ITR filing.
• Coordinate closely with the CA and audit team for accounting and tax-related matters.
• Ensure there are no errors or discrepancies in accounting and tax filings.
• Handle Bank Reconciliation, Ledger Reconciliation and Vendor/Customer Reconciliation.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for all transactions.
• Handle accounting entries, invoices, payments, receipts and expenses.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly and yearly accounts.
• Assist the CA during audits, assessments and other statutory requirements.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain complete confidentiality of financial information.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Practices.
• Hands-on experience with Tally / Tally Prime.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and ITR filing.
• Excellent understanding of Bank Reconciliation and Ledger Reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Ability to independently manage accounts and coordinate with the CA.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Candidate3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Candidates with Real Estate Industry experience will be given preference.
• Experience handling accounts for a real estate company, including property transactions, customer receipts, vendor payments, project-related expenses and reconciliations, will be an added advantage.
• Candidate should be capable of taking ownership of the accounts function and working independently with the CA.

ImportantWe are not looking for someone who only knows basic accounting entries. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of complete accounting, GST, TDS, ITR, reconciliations and statutory compliance and should be confident working directly with the CA.
