Job Description
Business Development Manager (BDM)
Role Summary: Own the sales/growth strategy and lead a team of BDEs to hit revenue targets.
• Design and execute business development strategy for assigned territory/vertical
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of BDEs; monitor their performance against targets
• Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and channels for growth
• Own P&L/revenue accountability for the region or vertical
• Build relationships with key clients, institutions, and stakeholders
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine strategy
• Report to senior management on team performance and pipeline
Business Development Executive (BDE)
Role Summary: Drive lead generation, client outreach, and initial sales conversions.
• Identify and generate new business leads through cold calling, networking, and field visits
• Conduct product/service presentations to prospective clients
• Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into admissions/sales
• Maintain daily reports on leads, conversions, and follow-ups
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients/counsellors
• Achieve monthly/weekly targets as assigned
