Interior Designer

About the RoleWe are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing interior design concepts, preparing drawings, coordinating with clients and site teams, and ensuring that designs are executed accurately at site.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop interior design concepts, layouts, and space-planning solutions.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, working drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, and elevation drawings.
• Prepare and review drawings for civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, painting, and other interior works.
• Coordinate with the site supervisor, contractors, vendors, consultants, and clients.
• Conduct regular site visits and ensure execution is as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Take accurate site measurements and prepare drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and provide practical solutions.
• Prepare BOQs, material specifications, quantity estimates, and measurement sheets when required.
• Assist in material selection, finishes, furniture, lighting, sanitaryware, hardware, and other interior materials.
• Prepare presentations wherever required.
• Coordinate design changes and ensure all revisions are properly documented.
• Follow up with vendors and contractors regarding materials, drawings, samples, and execution.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, approvals, and site instructions.
• Monitor quality and workmanship at site and highlight issues to the project team.
• Ensure projects are completed within the required quality, timeline, and design standards.
• Required SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar software will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of interior construction and execution.
• Knowledge of false ceiling, carpentry, civil work, electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting, and finishing works.
• Ability to read and understand draw and make architectural and MEP drawings.
• Good knowledge of materials, finishes, hardware, and interior products.
• Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• QualificationsDiploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior design and execution.
