Job Description

About ASBS MBA

ASBS MBA is looking for a skilled, creative, and detail-oriented Web Developer to support our website development, maintenance, and digital presence. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript, along with an understanding of responsive web design and website optimization.


Key Responsibilities

·        Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly websites.

·        Develop and customize WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and page layouts.

·        Create, update, and maintain web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

·        Ensure the website functions smoothly across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.

·        Manage website content, images, banners, landing pages, and other visual elements.

·        Update website content related to courses, admissions, events, announcements, and institutional information.

·        Identify and resolve website errors, bugs, and technical issues.

·        Implement basic SEO practices and optimize website loading speed.

·        Perform regular WordPress updates, website backups, and basic security checks.

·        Monitor website functionality and maintain a consistent user experience.

·        Coordinate with the admissions, marketing, content, and design teams to implement website updates and requirements.

·        Test website changes before publishing to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.


Required Skills and Qualifications

·        Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.

·        Hands-on experience in developing and managing WordPress websites.

·        Basic knowledge of JavaScript and responsive web design.

·        Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders.

·        Understanding of website structure, navigation, and user experience.

·        Basic knowledge of SEO, website speed optimization, and website security.

·        Ability to troubleshoot common website issues and fix bugs.

·        Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
