About you and the role:

Dow has an opportunity for an EH&S Sustainability Technician Based in Navi Mumbai, India

You demonstrate a broad understanding of your role and apply your skills and knowledge across EHS&S disciplines, including Health Services, TERC, Product Stewardship, and EHS&S Integrated Services. Using broad technical capabilities, you complete a defined range of work activities, identify and resolve routine issues by evaluating situations and applying established procedures, analytical approaches, and scientific methods under moderate supervision, and support less experienced team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance.

Responsibilities / Duties

• Record requests in workflow management tool
• Execute EH&S data processing as prescribed in work process / job aids 
• Troubleshoot atypical operability issues for EHS&S Integrated Services
• Interact on complex matters within the Integrated Services Team
• Suggest improvements to workflow design and to work process owners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in scientific or technical discipline (organic chemistry, life sciences, or engineering preferred) or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
• Ability to quickly learn systems and tools, including Microsoft Word and Excel

• Clear and effective communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams

Additional notes

• Relocation assistance is not available with this position.
• The ability to accommodate flexible schedule aligned with international time Zone is essential.
