Summary: Procurement Financial Analyst for the EDO that will drive financial reporting and analysis for contract-driven expenses across the organization. Analyst will manage financial forecasting models, share expenditure performance results, and partner with engagement owners assisting with management of their team's expenditure needs.

 The Team: The Client’s Global Enterprise Data Org (EDO) Finance team is a dynamic team that works well together and partners with business leadership to support the overall growth of the business.

Responsibilities:

• We are looking for an analyst who can manage the EDO contract driven expense (CDE) process for data redistribution, software and outside service costs.

• Primarily the analyst will:

  o   Review, approve & track EDO’s purchase requisitions and purchase orders

  o   Review expense accruals for CDE engagements and distribute monthly performance reports

  o   Research and confirm proposed balance sheet adjustment entries related to EDO PO expense

• To be successful the individual in this role needs to be comfortable communicating with several teams in the organization (asking questions and gathering information):  

  o   CARM:  vendor partners and contract operations team

  o   Accounting COE

  o   EDO Data Stewardship

  o   Divisional Finance and Product Management teams. 

• Strong English skills and the ability to effectively communicate with leadership & decision makers are crucial.  Critical analytical skills are a must. 
• Need to be able to spot inconsistencies and conduct discovery when presented information that doesn’t make sense.
• Provide high quality financial reporting to business partners that is produced on a timely and accurate basis with action orientated commentary and analysis.
• Monitor and report on procurement expenditures and financial performance against budgets.
• Prepare financial analyses on proposed procurement requests and strategic plans.
• Lead the preparation of financial forecasts for contract driven expenses.
• Maintain data from various company sources that facilitate in the preparation of monthly financial deliverables.
• Look for opportunities to improve existing processes, implementing best practices and repeatable processes, reducing complexity.
• Assist with providing effective finance decision support for the EDO, including regular interaction with senior leaders and their management teams.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the team’s internal tools, processes and capabilities related to data acquisition, transformation, analysis, and distribution to support the dynamic and growing nature of the EDO’s information needs.

Skills:

• Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions for operational and financial problems.
• Highly proficient skills in MS Excel, and experience with Generative AI and process automation tools is preferred.
• Proficiency with Oracle Financials or other similar financial systems, Ariba and Oracle Smartview strongly preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
