Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Multi Boring Machine Operator for our modular furniture manufacturing unit at Nagpur.

The candidate will be responsible for operating and setting multi-boring machines for accurate drilling and boring of furniture panels such as MDF, plywood, HDHMR and particle board.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Multi Boring Machine safely and efficiently.
• Perform accurate horizontal and vertical boring on furniture panels.
• Set and adjust drilling depth, spacing, alignment and boring positions.
• Perform drilling for hinges, dowels, shelf pins, minifix, cam locks and other furniture fittings.
• Read and understand furniture drawings, drilling layouts and measurements.
• Check hole position, depth, alignment and overall quality of finished panels.
• Minimize material wastage, drilling errors and production rejection.
• Handle MDF, plywood, HDHMR and particle board carefully.
• Check and maintain drill bits, boring heads and machine components.
• Perform basic machine cleaning, lubrication and preventive maintenance.
• Report machine breakdowns, abnormal noise and technical issues to the supervisor.
• Follow machine safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Achieve daily production targets and maintain required quality standards.
• Coordinate with the production team, carpenters and supervisors.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Multi Boring Machine Operation.
• Experience in modular furniture / furniture manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of MDF, plywood, HDHMR and particle board.
• Knowledge of hinge boring, dowel boring, shelf pin and furniture hardware drilling.
• Ability to understand furniture drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of drilling depth, spacing and alignment.
• Basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to use measuring tape, scale and vernier caliper.
• Good understanding of furniture production and quality requirements.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in relevant work
• Education: 8th Pass or above
• Gender: Male
• Age: 18–40 years
• Language: Hindi
• Location: Candidates from Nagpur and nearby areas preferred
• Notice Period: Immediate joiners / candidates with up to 30 days' notice preferred
