Sales Manager

Job purpose

Lead the doors sales and telecalling team to hit the monthly target and grow sales every quarter. Own every lead, quote and project from the first call to the close.

Primary responsibilities.

1. Set monthly targets for each salesperson and telecaller, and track them daily.

2. Make sure every lead is called within 5 minutes and every quote is followed up within 3 days.

3. Run the daily team meeting, weekly one-on-ones and weekly training.

4. Join important customer visits and builder meetings, and help the team close.

5. Listen to recorded calls and coach the team on scripts and objections.

6. Keep the CRM up to date: every lead with a stage and a next action.

7. Approve discounts within set limits; send the rest to the Director.

8. Build relationships with builders, architects and contractors for project orders.

9. Run the sales leaderboard and review lost deals every week.

10. Send a daily sales report and review the numbers with the Director every week.

11. Try one new idea every month to grow sales, and report the result.

Education

• Minimum Education: Graduate in any discipline

• Technical Education: MBA or PG in Sales & Marketing preferred, not required

Experience

• Sales Experience: 5+ years selling high-value products — tiles, sanitaryware, furniture, doors or automobiles

• Team Handling: 2+ years managing a sales team

3. Target-driven and knows his numbers

4. Fluent in Hindi and Marathi, working English

5. Comfortable with CRM, WhatsApp Business and MS Excel
