Job Description
- Accountant – Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain books of accounts (ledger, journal entries, cash book, bank book)
- Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance)
- Handle accounts payable & receivable
- Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) regularly
- Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up for collections
- Manage GST compliance – returns, reconciliations, payments
- Handle TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing
- Maintain statutory compliance as per applicable laws
- Assist in internal & external audits
- Monitor expenses and cost control
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Maintain fixed asset register & depreciation
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, and tax consultants
- Ensure proper record keeping & documentation
- Support management with financial analysis & budgeting
