Job Description

  • Prepare and serve high-quality meals for crew members onboard the vessel.
  • Have good knowledge of Continental cuisine, including soups, salads, pasta, rice dishes, meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, and basic sauces.
  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks according to the vessel's menu and crew requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness in the galley and food preparation areas.
  • Properly store and handle food supplies, including checking freshness and expiry dates.
  • Manage food stocks and minimize wastage.
  • Follow onboard food safety, hygiene, and company procedures.
  • Prepare meals according to different dietary requirements when required.
  • Coordinate with the vessel's management regarding menus, provisions, and catering requirements.
  • Work efficiently in a multicultural crew environment and maintain good discipline onboard.
  • Should be flexible to travel, must have Passport & valid certificates
