Job Summary

We are looking for a detailed-oriented and technical Electrical Draftsman to join our engineering design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing high-quality electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using both EPLAN /AutoCAD software. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design concepts and technical execution, ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards and project guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting & Design: Generate electrical schematics, control panel layouts, wiring schedules, and single-line diagrams using EPLAN Electric Px and AutoCAD.
• Engineering Modifications: Revise existing engineering drawings based on project updates, redlines, and site feedback.
• Component Management: Build and maintain parts databases, bills of materials (BOMs), and window macros within EPLAN to optimize the design workflow.
• Collaboration: Partner with electrical engineers, project managers, and production teams to resolve layout conflicts and technical issues.
• Standards & Quality Control: Ensure all technical drawings strictly comply with company guidelines, customer specifications, and local/international electrical codes (e.g., IEC, IS codes).
• Documentation: Organize, archive, and maintain drawing files and engineering records systematically.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, ITI (Draftsman), or a related technical field.
• Software Expertise: Advanced, hands-on proficiency in EPLAN (P8 / Pro Panel) and AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical symbols, control panel architectures, PLC wiring, switchgears, and cable sizing.
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy in managing component connections, terminal diagrams, and multi-page schematics.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, great organizational skills, and clear communication.
