Senior Accountant

*(BT Laboratory & Testing) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Vashi, Navi Mumbai*. 

Job Overview 

• Position: Senior Accountant 

• Company: Bombay Test Laboratory (BT Laboratory & Testing) 

• Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai 

• Experience: 5 to 8 years 

• Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month (depending on experience) 

Key Responsibilities 

• Taxation & Compliance: Manage end-to-end Direct and Indirect Taxation. Ensure complete accuracy in GST filing, TDS computation, and quarterly returns. 

• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations (Bank Reco) to ensure precise tracking of cash flows and financial transactions. 

• Financial Accounting: Maintain daily accounting entries, ledgers, and books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards. 

• Reporting: Prepare periodic financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements for management review. 

• Audit Support: Coordinate and assist internal and external auditors during annual and periodic financial audits. 

Requirements & Qualifications 

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com), Inter-CA, or equivalent finance degree. 

• Experience: 5–8 years of core accounting and taxation experience. 

• Core Skills: Deep, hands-on knowledge of GST laws, TDS deductions, bank reconciliation, and general ledger operations. 

• Software: High proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP9 and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). 

• Location: Candidates residing in or near Navi Mumbai/Vashi will be preferred.
