Job Description
Banking Sales & Operations Executive
Department: Retail Banking & Customer Acquisition
Reports To: Sales Manager / Operations Lead
Job Summary
Banking Sales & Operations Executive drives revenue growth and expands the bank's customer base. This hybrid role is responsible for selling financial products (credit cards, debit cards, and personal/retail loans) while seamlessly managing the end-to-end account opening process for new clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Sales: Pitch, promote, and sell banking products—including credit cards, premium debit cards, and retail loan products (personal, auto, or home loans)—to new and existing customers.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for account acquisition, card issuance, and loan volume disbursement.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in financial sales, banking product sales, or retail banking operations.
- Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills with a track record of meeting targets.
- Compliance Knowledge: Basic understanding of banking regulations, KYC norms, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies, and credit scoring guidelines.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and a customer-centric attitude.
