A waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesGreeting and Seating Guests: Welcome customers upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus. Explain daily specials or promotions and answer initial questions about the restaurant or menu. 2

4. Handling Payments: Process transactions, handle cash and credit card payments, and provide guests with their bills and change as necessary. 1
5. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep tables and service areas clean and organized, restock items as needed, and follow all food safety and hygiene standards. 2
