Job Description:

Kalra & Company is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in North Delhi (Adarsh Nagar). The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of accounting experience and a strong understanding of taxation and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and filing of GST returns.

Preparation and compliance related to Income Tax returns.

Maintaining books of accounts and financial records.

Handling day-to-day accounting transactions and reconciliations.

Preparing financial reports, ledgers, and account statements.

Managing accounts payable and receivable.

Assisting with audits and statutory compliance requirements.

Ensuring timely and accurate accounting entries.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting.

Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Income Tax and GST return filing.

Proficiency in Busy Accounting Software, TallyPrime (Tally), and other accounting-related software.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation regulations.

Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related office applications.

Preferred Candidate Profile

B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Experience in handling multiple client accounts will be an advantage.
