Role OverviewDIYguru is seeking a Corporate Relations Lead to build and manage relationships with corporate recruiters, HR leaders, hiring managers, colleges, universities, ITIs and diploma institutes. The role owns the full cycle from first outreach to face-to-face meetings, requirement generation, partnership development, hiring coordination and repeat engagement.
This is a target-driven, field-oriented role, not a desk-based or calling-only position. Performance will be measured on relationship quality and on quantifiable placement and partnership outcomes.
Key Responsibilities1. Corporate Relationship & Business Development
- Identify and prioritize target companies across EV, automotive, manufacturing, engineering, electronics, battery, mobility, software/technology and renewable energy.
- Build relationships with HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Managers, recruiters, hiring managers and business leaders.
- Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email, calls, referrals, industry networks, events and direct visits.
- Understand each company's workforce requirements, skill gaps and hiring challenges, and present suitable DIYguru placement, training and partnership solutions.
- Develop long-term corporate accounts and drive repeat hiring and account expansion.
- Manage a structured pipeline: Lead → Contact → Meeting → Requirement → Proposal → Partnership → Hiring/Collaboration → Closure → Repeat Engagement.
2. Field Outreach & Corporate Visits
- Plan and conduct regular visits to corporate offices, industrial organizations and business parks.
- Hold face-to-face meetings to understand current and upcoming manpower needs and convert them into concrete requirements.
- Conduct follow-up visits and attend industry events, conferences and networking forums.
- Record every meeting, requirement, next action and follow-up date in the CRM.
3. Placement & Recruitment Partnerships
- Acquire and document new hiring requirements, including role, skills, experience, location, salary, joining timeline and selection process.
- Interpret technical and non-technical Job Descriptions and coordinate with the placement team for candidate mapping and shortlisting.
- Coordinate assessments, interviews and recruitment drives, and track selections, offers and joining.
- Collect employer feedback and identify additional requirements from existing employers.
4. Candidate & Employer Coordination
- Act as the communication bridge between employers and the internal placement team.
- Ensure candidates receive accurate information on role, location, salary, eligibility, interview process and joining requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting hiring conversion.
5. College & Institutional Outreach
- Visit colleges, universities, ITIs and diploma institutes and engage TPOs, placement officers, HODs and deans.
- Develop partnerships for campus hiring, placement drives, Recruitathons, internships, OJT and industry-academia collaboration.
- Build and maintain a structured institution database and pursue MoUs with high-potential institutions.
6. Recruitathon & Hiring Events
- Onboard companies to DIYguru Recruitathons and hiring events.
- Coordinate JDs, eligibility criteria and selection processes, and stay in touch with participants before, during and after events.
- Convert event participants into long-term hiring partners.
7. Corporate Training & Strategic Collaborations
- Identify corporate training, EV upskilling and workshop opportunities, and coordinate with the Training team on solutions.
- Initiate and track MoUs, ensuring they translate into hiring, training, internships, OJT or events.
8. Employer Branding & Communication
- Work with the Marketing team on hiring-partner announcements, success stories, newsletters and LinkedIn campaigns, ensuring all communication reflects DIYguru's credibility and value proposition.
9. CRM, MIS & Reporting
- Maintain accurate corporate, HR/recruiter, institution, meeting, field-visit, JD, candidate, selection, joining, repeat-hiring and MoU trackers.
- Submit weekly and monthly MIS reports on leads, visits, meetings, requirements, selections, joinings, partnerships and conversions.
- Required SkillsStrong verbal and written communication and confident face-to-face interaction with senior HR and business stakeholders
- Negotiation, persuasion and networking skills
- B2B outreach, business development and pipeline management
- Recruitment and placement coordination, including JD interpretation
- Professional LinkedIn networking
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, CRM and MIS reporting
- Ownership, accountability and a target-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple relationships
- Willingness to travel locally for meetings and field visits
Candidate Profile
Experience: 3–7 years in one or more of the following: Corporate Relations, Corporate Field Sales, B2B Sales, Business Development, Campus Recruitment, Placement Coordination, Talent Acquisition, Industry or EdTech Partnerships, Staffing/Recruitment, College Relations, Institutional Business Development or Corporate Training.
Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred).
Preferred Exposure: EV, automotive, manufacturing, engineering, electronics, battery technology, mobility, EdTech, skill development, staffing, corporate training, technology and renewable energy.
