Job Description

Credit Manager Experience: 1–5years

Industry: FinTech / Digital Lending / Payday Loans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage credit underwriting and loan approval processes.
  • Assess customer creditworthiness using bureau, income, and banking data.
  • Develop and optimize credit policies and risk strategies.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, DPD, delinquency, bounce, and defaults.
  • Work closely with Risk, Collections, Operations, and Business teams.
  • Identify credit/fraud risks and implement appropriate controls.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory payday/short-term lending experience.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk and underwriting.
  • Experience in FinTech/NBFC/digital lending preferred.
  • Good analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; SQL is a plus.
